Tip #31: Timelapse Video
A day in the blink of an eye.
A Timelapse is the perfect solution for capturing lengthy activities or processes. They can also make amazing b-rolls in a family film. To shoot one, simply open your camera and scroll over to the Timelapse setting. It's best to have your camera in one spot the whole time for a timelapse, so lean the phone against a cup, a bag, a ledge or whatever you have laying around. Better yet, if you have a tripod, use that.
If you want to see a "hilarious" timelapse of your kid doing their best tornado impression, make a timelapse video capturing them during their playtime routine. And after the toy hurricane is over, if you want to feel like a superhero, timelapse yourself cleaning it all back up - hopefully with a pair or two of helping hands!
