Delete the distortion
Have you ever taken a photo or selfie and felt like you looked… a little warped? This could be because of the lens your phone is using + the distance you are from the camera. Phones have a range of lenses and photo modes that mimic expensive cameras, but not every lens is made for every moment!
See examples below and scroll down even further to see the distance taken for each shot. The most noticable difference is the between the x3 lens and the 0.5 lens. The 0.5 lens almost looks like it's taken from a peep hole in a door, distorting my nose and making it look larger than in the photo taken with the 3x lens.
Each lens has it's own benefits, look & feel to it. Even thought the 0.5 lens may add some distortion, it has a silly kind of vibe to it which I love using for more playful captures, while the 3x lens is definitely the most flattering - for my face anyway lol.
